This event is a series of biennial conferences for conservationists, scientists, grid operators, renewable developers, and government representatives to share strategies, policy insights and technical solutions for a nature-positive energy transition. Topics will cover recent scientific findings, state-of-the-art conservation strategies, policy frameworks, and nature-inclusive technological innovations, with a special focus on ecosystem and species conservation along electricity grids and onshore wind energy.

Wingspan 2026 aims to foster cross-sector dialogue among a diverse range of key stakeholders to address the urgent need for a nature-positive energy transition, accelerating progress toward both renewable energy and biodiversity goals.
